Celebrating 25 years of the
Immigrant Family Resource Program

The immigrant community of Illinois is vibrant and diverse. The 1.8 million immigrants who call Illinois home are an integral part of the fabric of our state. But immigrant communities face particular challenges when accessing services, and are often excluded from civic life because of their immigration status or ability to speak English.

For 25 years the Immigrant Family Resource Program has connected immigrants across Illinois with interpretation, translation, and case management services. Through our statewide network of community based partners, local organizations across Illinois have provided everyday case management in addition to stepping up to meet the moment to address the urgent needs of Syrian refugees, Afghans, Ukrainians, and Southern Border arrivals.
ICIRR is dedicated to promoting the rights of immigrants and refugees to full and equal participation in the civic, cultural, social, and political life of our diverse society.
