Zuka'a Joudeh (she/they) is the daughter of immigrants from Deir Yassin, Palestine. They fight for justice and social equity for all people in Illinois. Having participated in various roles that include working as a teacher, urban planner, and organizer, Zuka'a continues to work with local organizations and nonprofits to maximize the democratic and human rights of marginalized communities in the US and abroad. Zuka'a graduated a summa cum laude from the University of Illinois-Chicago with a BA in Political Science and Germanic Studies, and a minor in Public Policy. Outside of work, they like to travel, read, and learn new languages.
